Kate & Rik – pure awesomeness

I got to Kate’s place on her wedding morning … I wasn’t too concerned the door wasn’t answered after a couple of door bell rings as everyone can be a little busy getting ready. But after 10-mins and quite a few bell rings later I was quadruple checking my paperwork and calling every number Kate...

Juan Ignacio Scopp - Hey, I just got to your site in a totally random manner, and I have to say I’m REALLY impressed with the pictures.
The best photo collection of an event I’ve seen in my life.
If it wasn’t because I live all the way down south to Argentina, I’ll ask you to shoot any event I might have in the future!!!

AMAZING!!!

Kate Elderton - Rob, what can we say – the pictures speak for themselves! You have managed to capture what really was the most amazing day and delivered not just one or a few, but hundreds of amazing images! We can’t thank you or recommend you enough! Your relaxed, yet professional approach managed to secure us images to compliment our memories as well as provide us with those precious moments we didn’t always get to experience as the bride and groom. Thank you especially for our beautiful ‘bride and groom’ images which we treasure for years to come! Looking forward to working with you again for our ‘trash the wedding dress shot’ and no doubt for future family portraits too!

Guy Collier - Now it’s my turn to be punched in the stomach with the mighty fist of awe! Great, great work Rob.

James Pearson - Fantastic wedding shoot – I love the stairs in the first one; great backdrop for the shoes. I really love the first portrait image (after the cake image), really superb composition and the processing is perfect. The first dance shots are absolutely gorgeous – love the bubbles and excellent moments captured.

greg - love the black and white shots – sublime work!

Antony@lightboxstudios.co.uk - Dude – another awesome set of shots from what looks like a great fun wedding.

In particular, I’m loving the shoe shot, and the first dance complete with bubbles!

Nice one.

Ant :)

Marwell Hall Wedding Photography

On a breezy Saturday in May I headed over to Eastleigh where Stuart was getting ready for his wedding with Lucy. There seemed to be groomsmen everywhere as I was putting names to faces, but other than the very chilled and extremely relaxed Stuart there was one fella who stood out. Not because he seemed...

Carol Lowes - Only just managed to view photos as just returned from own honeymoon! The photos are gorgeous and captured the day perfectly unfolding/telling the day as it happened!

Stuart - I can see the Irony in having a ‘roasting piggie’ in a sanctuary for wildlife, but it was damn tasty :)

Rob - Yvonne … the pleasure was mine :) Was a fab-tastic day with some excellent people to photograph.

Anonymous - Thank you Rob for such wonderful photos of our son’s wedding. Lucy looked beautiful. Still brings a tear to our eyes!!!

Amy Wass - Nice work, all weddings should have giraffes, though there is something very wrong about having that roasting piggie at Marwell!

Rob - Stu & Lucy … right back ‘atcha with the double thumbs up. Your wedding was an absolute blast to photograph. I might just get an xbox … maybe use it as a podium for the ps3 :)

Stuart - Thanks Rob, big ‘double thumbs up’ to you for capturing superbly our great day out at the Zoo!! You need to get on Xbox for COD4 ;o) Once again, Many Many thanks!!!!! Stu & Lucy

Andrew - You are the king of creative ring placement. So to speak.

Rob - Big thanks to Lucy & Stuart for hiring me and I hope to see you guys at St Mary’s, Marwell Zoo or online for some COD4/5 action sooner or later.

strictly meets salsa

Last Saturday I photographed Tracie’s Latin Club’s annual ball (hopefully those apostrophes are in the right place Andy?). I’ve covered a few other salsa events but none have the same warm welcome and friendliness that Tracie and her guests manage to create. Photos from the event are on this link … below are a few...
