Jane & Mike – Marwell Hotel Wedding Photography

The buzz and excitement of bride prep shots is a great way to start the day as a wedding photographer, especially when the sun is shining through a deep blue sky. But it’s even better when the bride is as chilled and relaxed as Jane. Amongst her hair being styled, make-up being applied, bestest buddy...

Sarah Vivienne - How fun are those cupcakes? Love the lighting on the first dance shot, class

Rob - Jonathan: thanks for the kind words and hope you got most people looking at your camera in the group shots …

Jacqui: Thanking you xx

Jane: Glad you like the hand/back of dress shot … I love that one … amongs quite a number of others :)

Andy: I always ask a groomsmen to hold my pole for the first dance … got to keep them boys busy.

Phil: thanks for the kind words … you should have seen the passengers faces when the train pulled up :)

Mike, James, Greg … thanks gents … really appreciate comments from photogs that I admire their work.

Jonathan - Excellent shots Rob, you have captured the day well. The flowers & bench shot is a beautiful composition, one of my favorites.
Just like to add that as a guest (with camera) I was really impressed by the way you were always about (but never intrusive) and the way you worked with all us ‘amateur snappers’ on the group shots to help us get the best shots we could.

Jacqui Dunster - fabulous work Rob, as always.

Rob - Thanks Nige … not a patch on your proposal shot on the lake … that is one seriously awesome photo :)

Nige - Nice work Rob. Some really good shot’s of Mike and Jane here.

Jane Goodey - Rob, thank you for your kind comments, and perfect pictures, they are great. Its captured the day perfectly, we were very fortunate to have such a fabulous team with us on the day, but your pictures will be with us forever. Foster watch out, your make up antics will appear on your 18th! The post office shot, and the one with Mike’s hand and the back of my dress, have to be my favourites (well for today anyway). See you soon.

Andy - Top job. Is that a groomsman holding a lighting pole?

greg - great work Rob – some awesome shots – loving your use of available light!

Phil Jordan - Superb Pics, I love the one where mike & Jane look like theyre asleep on the railway bridge! Probably waiting for the 5:50 am from Southampton know the feeling!
So glad to of been invited to the whole day, & great pictures to remind us of it!

James McClean - My favourites are the 11th shot down – it has a great reportage feel to it – and the 17th down (bench & flowers) – just an awesome shot with great light.

Fantastic job dude!

Mike Patterson - Awesome shots and love the accessories ie sheriffs star. What a cool priest too with the funky shades.

Looks like everyone had a blast!!!

Kate & Rik – pure awesomeness

I got to Kate’s place on her wedding morning … I wasn’t too concerned the door wasn’t answered after a couple of door bell rings as everyone can be a little busy getting ready. But after 10-mins and quite a few bell rings later I was quadruple checking my paperwork and calling every number Kate...

Juan Ignacio Scopp - Hey, I just got to your site in a totally random manner, and I have to say I’m REALLY impressed with the pictures.
The best photo collection of an event I’ve seen in my life.
If it wasn’t because I live all the way down south to Argentina, I’ll ask you to shoot any event I might have in the future!!!

AMAZING!!!

Kate Elderton - Rob, what can we say – the pictures speak for themselves! You have managed to capture what really was the most amazing day and delivered not just one or a few, but hundreds of amazing images! We can’t thank you or recommend you enough! Your relaxed, yet professional approach managed to secure us images to compliment our memories as well as provide us with those precious moments we didn’t always get to experience as the bride and groom. Thank you especially for our beautiful ‘bride and groom’ images which we treasure for years to come! Looking forward to working with you again for our ‘trash the wedding dress shot’ and no doubt for future family portraits too!

Guy Collier - Now it’s my turn to be punched in the stomach with the mighty fist of awe! Great, great work Rob.

James Pearson - Fantastic wedding shoot – I love the stairs in the first one; great backdrop for the shoes. I really love the first portrait image (after the cake image), really superb composition and the processing is perfect. The first dance shots are absolutely gorgeous – love the bubbles and excellent moments captured.

greg - love the black and white shots – sublime work!

Antony@lightboxstudios.co.uk - Dude – another awesome set of shots from what looks like a great fun wedding.

In particular, I’m loving the shoe shot, and the first dance complete with bubbles!

Nice one.

Ant :)
