Virtual Tour Southampton: Grand Cafe is a Bar, Bistro & Restaurant in Southampton near the highly popular Oxford Street. It’s set in the gorgeous South Western House over two floors.
Grand Cafe hired us to produce a virtual tour of their venue to compliment their website. The tour has been designed to give new customers a real flavour as to what the venue has to offer as a bar, restaurant or as a venue for weddings and other functions.
South Western House is a Grade II listed building and dates back to the 1870′s. At that time it was known as South Western Hotel and served the passengers using the neighbouring railway terminal.
In the early 20th Century and in line with many cruise liners being based in Southampton, the hotel was used by many of the first class passengers. This has made South Western House a significant part of the Titanic Tour around the city.
To further add to the history of South Western House. dignatories such as Winston Churchill, Dwight Eisenhower along with Queen Elizabeth and the Queen’s Mother have visited the venue.
In recent years the property has been converted and the upper floors are now a selection of over 90-luxury apartments and penthouses.
The Grand Cafe restaurant offers a wide choice on it’s menu for lunch and dinner. The venue is also the perfect setting for Afternoon Tea. For non-diners there is regular entertainment on offer such as live cabaret music, Sporting Lunches and not forgetting Club4.
With it’s own Civil Ceremony license, the Grand Cafe makes for an ideal venue for both wedding ceremonies and receptions.
The large open space of what was once the Wedgewood Ballroom and also Club4 located downstairs with its own bar and dancefloor make Grand Cafe an ideal venue for other functions and get togethers. See the Grand Cafe virtual tour southampton.
